The writing
of the civil rite

The idea that civil ceremonies are formal, detached and impersonal is an outdated prejudice.

We often think of institutional readings, the civil code, signatures, but... can't we do better?

"There is no magic like that of words"
(Anatole France)

Helping the couple make the civil ceremony intimate and personal is an increasingly frequent request. Writing the text that the celebrant will have to read and interpret in front of all the guests is a task that stimulates me a lot.

The steps?

  • Let's define an effective and concise structure together.

  • We highlight the most important moments, making the most of them.

  • We divide the reading into small chapters, each phase has its own importance.

From welcoming guests to the meaning of marriage, from readings to the exchange of rings, we work with words to excite, entertain, involve . All in the right measure...and tailored to the couple.

I also offer my collaboration to friends and family: sorting out ideas and giving shape to a surprise reading is a beautiful gift for the spouses. A touch of pure magic.
